Chef Emeril Lagasse Cooks Up Another Side of e2

Chef Emeril Lagasse announced today he has cooked up another side of e2 emeril’s eatery called e2 GO. The one-stop food and beverage spot opened this week offering handcrafted sandwiches, soups, salads and snacks to go – all made from scratch using the best ingredients. e2 GO serves weekdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. e2 GO adjoins e2 emeril’s eatery, conveniently located on the Levine Avenue of the Arts for those who work and play in Uptown Charlotte. Guests can enter e2 GO from the breezeway connecting the Duke Energy Center and Mint Museum Uptown. When you’re short on time or want to dine outdoors on the Levine Center of the Arts campus, e2 GO provides a delicious, quick meal. The menu features a variety of cold, hot and pressed sandwiches, homemade soups, as well as signature salads. Highlights include Curried Shrimp Salad with currants, almonds and green chilies; Vietnamese Style Po’ Boy with roasted BBQ pork, pickled vegetables, pate and spicy mayo; Grilled Gruyere with bacon, pear and frisée; and pressed Muffaletta with salami, mortadella, olive salad and provolone. Guests can also create made-to-order salads from fresh greens and produce, proteins such as roasted chicken, roast beef, turkey or poached shrimp, and a selection of homemade dressings and garnishes. Additionally, e2 GO offers freshly prepared classic salads and sandwiches ready to pick up and go, plus sweet treats and an array of beverages. Drinks include local beers, wine, iced teas and bottled beverages such as kombucha and sparkling sodas, as well as La Colombe “Louisiane” signature blend coffees and espresso. For added convenience, e2 GO will soon offer online ordering and phone orders will also be accepted. e2 emeril’s eatery opened in January and serves lunch weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dinner is served Monday – Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
